There is no end to the giggles we get from this sweet girl! She has such a fun personality, even through struggle. On Saturday we moved Alex about an hour outside of Dallas to a house that was gifted to us for her recovery time. We truly cannot express our thankfulness for the million ways people have stepped in to make this journey happen as smoothly as it has. Her spica harness is her seatbelt and she lays across the back seat. She loves traveling this way so that is a good thing, although the hour was all she could handle and she began to hurt so we were glad we didn’t have any further to go.
Before we left Dallas we got to have one more lunch and sweet visit with our new friends, The Thompsons.
We got here and got unpacked and settled in and then took her for a little walk down to the late before it got dark. It was a little bit cold so she didn’t want to stay out too long.
Spent some time chatting with siblings and cousins which she very much enjoys!
Yesterday was a lazy kind of day after a very long night. Her incisions are beginning to itch pretty badly and the nerves all coming to life, which she calls bugs in her cast. Both things were bothering her a lot the night before and no one got very much sleep so that has made for tired days.
Thankful for a beautiful day. We took her for a walk down the road, spent some time in the disc swing they have on the property, sat on her blanket in the grass, playing with toys, and reading Little House on the Prairie. Much of our days are spent massaging and squeezing her little leg and nights dealing with itches but she is so sweet and hardly ever complains. I can’t really complain about lack of sleep or anything else when she doesn’t complain with everything she has going on. She uses her hymns playlist to help herself cope when she is aggravated. God has gifted her with so much strength.

She misses her brother and sister so much. Getting kid time is so special to her. Last night we were able to spend some time with some new dear friends. These girls had such a good time together. Hannah was precious to bring all of the things to her and make sure all the play was things that Alex could do.
Thank you for continuing to pray for Alex and our family. The other kids are doing really well. Of course we all miss each other dearly and are counting the days until they come out here for a visit.
Last night their wonderful Grandparents and Uncle let them have a Super Bowl Party and we loved getting all the pictures throughout the evening.
It has come to my attention that the link for the amazon wish list is not showing up on the how can we help page anymore so I will post the link here. Items purchased are set to come to where we are staying in Texas.
Praying for you all❣️
