Leg day 2 update!

Very short update to say that today went so well. Once again she rocked her therapy and got to bring the leg home with her. The therapist said she was going to ask Alex to try some hard stuff and once again Alex made it look easy after a couple tries. More adjustments were made to the leg and there will likely be a few more changes over the next couple days. It’s very exciting. Tomorrow we see the surgeon for a follow up. Alex can’t wait to show off her new steps.

We went to the playground this afternoon. She wore the leg for a while and then took it off and used the crutches for a while. We are proud of her for voicing her needs and letting us know when she is too tired or needing a rest from the leg. Thank you for the prayers and encouragement.
