Morning 3 update!

Our little warrior continues to amaze. Brent stayed with her at the hospital last night and I went back to the condo to sleep. He said she slept well until about 2 and then she was pretty much up for the rest of the night. She is consistently using the bedside potty so that’s pretty awesome. That was really our last hurdle to being able to go home. Tummy troubles have eased although she still seems to have some tummy upset after certain meds and for a little while after meals. At this point there really isn’t anything they are doing for her that we can’t do at home but everyone has this sense of this all being too easy and waiting on the hard thing. We know that is all God!! What a mighty God he is.

She and I found this painting when we went on our walk yesterday and had to get her picture with it since it describes her so perfectly!!

When I got to the hospital to relieve Brent this morning she was all smiles and asked to go to the cafeteria to eat. We were given permission for that so we got her settled in her wheel chair and took off. as you can see from the next picture she picked all the things and I may have lost my ability to tell her no! 😄 Okay so not completely but definitely on things like meal choices. After she ate she put the speaker headband on her head and we turned in her music. She asked me to rub her hand and in about two seconds she was fast asleep. Her next meds weren’t due for an hour and a half so I am just letting her sleep before we go back upstairs. After next meds and a potty break she wants to head back outside to play so there will be more pictures tonight of whatever wonderful things we find to play!
