About six and a half years ago this spunky, determined, energetic, joyful, baby entered our world. when we started this journey with Gorham Stout Disease at age four and she handled everything that was presented to her with so much strength and determination we were not surprised but we were constantly amazed and have been ever since. When I found this picture of her it hit me how good our God is to have gifted this girl with all of these characteristics he knew she would need. As you can see, some things never change! 😄 She is such a ham. She is ready for surgery and says she isn’t even nervous anymore. She was nervous about having to be delegated from me but now that she and Mrs. Andrea have become such good friends she isn’t nervous at all.

We arrived at the hospital this morning at 4:40 and were able to have a very sweet time of prayer and hymns with Pastor Ian and some good snuggles with Daddy before we came back to start getting ready for surgery.

Her nurse asked if she was hurting. She said, no but sometimes my leg hurts. The nurse said what leg, she said my bad leg. She paused for a second and said, but tomorrow we won’t call it that anymore because it won’t be bad anymore. 😭🙂

Alex wanted one more picture of her legs as they are today So we got that taken care of.

She and I are just snuggling and waiting for time to roll back. And discussing cast colors! She is excited to be able to choose her colors. We will see what she comes up with.

God of wonders! They were able to allow Brent to come back to pray with us right before they rolled her back. It was incredible to have those few minutes together. Such a blessing. They rolled her back about 7:30 and she was happy, smiling, and chatting all the way. Mrs. Andrea came out to tell us she was asleep at 7:40. She said soon as they entered the OR alex wanted to ask questions all about the things in the room. So they talked about everything as she fell asleep.

We are thankful, hopeful, teary, but completely at peace. We are thankful for the many many people all over the world covering us in prayers.
